Finally Friday and the weekend's almost here! Tonight we are going to BV to eat at Originals. YEAH! I haven't had originals for about four or five months and I can't wait. Afterwards we are going to Sharon and Robby's to play cards so it should be a great way to start the weekend.
Chuck has to teach a class tomorrow morning and so my thought is to clean house. But then that's my thought now and when I awake tomorrow morning I have a feeling the thought will be different.
Our pears are coming in so we might make some pear sauce and/or butter tomorrow. I also have a lot of tomatoes so we might make more salsa as well.
Next week is Shay and Nick's birthday and I wish I could be there to celebrate with them but they will be here Labor Day weekend so we will celebrate then.
Corey is hosting the 2nd Annual Family Picnic which should be alot of fun. Last year we went to the Peaks and it was great. This year we are having it here at the house so we can swim and have the fire pit. I am so looking forward to that. I can taste the Beer Marguaritas already!
I need to make sure I don't drink on Monday (Labor Day) since I have to go in for pre-surgery blood work on Tuesday. Don't know if it would make a difference or not but would rather not have alot of alcohol show up if you know what I mean (HA).
I'm hoping that after my hysteroscopy I will begin to have some energy again. This last month and half I just don't have any energy. I'm always tired even though I take two iron pills a day.
Chuck and I ate at the Pitt Boss BBQ place that opened with Aundrea and Wes and it was terrific. The pulled pork is great and so is the price! It was so good that we even went back a second time (with Aundrea and Wes again.
When Labor Day hits, to me summer is officially over and I can't believe that Labor Day will be here in two weeks. We haven't really had a summer. It took forever to get our pool going this summer and then with all the rain, it's been a short summer. Our goal for next year is the beach. We really really wanted to go to the beach but with all our expenses this summer there was no way. Of course we were able to go to KY and enjoy a few days of relaxation and see Nick and Shay at the same time which was great. We have also been able to enjoy a few times of cookouts, swimming, firepit, etc. with Corey, Bobbie and Reagan. So overall I would have to say that our summer was enjoyable since we spent time with family., Spending time with my family always makes for a great time.
Well enough random thoughts for today. I do need to work some today before I officially start the weekend!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Gayenelle
