First for the funny part ---This past Saturday, my college roommate had us over for a belated birthday dinner. Meg lives off Cave Spring Road and we've been to her house a handful of times but we hadn't been there in over a year probably. So we get over that way and don't remember the house number. No problem I know it is the 2nd house on the right (I remember). Well we turn onto Cave Spring Lane and stop at the second house, smile at the neighbor who is working in the yard with her boys. We walk up to the front door and ring the doorbell. No answer -- that's strange, we were invited for dinner and yes we are right on time. Well let's ring it again while Chuck walks down the driveway around to the back of the house. He comes back and said doesn't look like anyone is home -- this is their house, right? I guess?? So I open the glass door and knock. Still no answer. So as we walk back to our car, I politely yell over to the neighbor, "Excuse me, do you know if if John and Meg Munton live her?" As she smiles, trying not to laugh, she replies, "No, go to the end of the block, cross the intersection and it's the second house on the left", Thank you I say and she replies, "Tell Meg Brenda says hello". Well embarassed and laughing we drive down to the end, cross the intersection (still on Cave Spring Lane) and go to the 2nd house on the right --- yeah this is it I remember now. We laughed all night!!!!
Okay, now for the scary part --- We had a wonderful dinner and a great time overall so around 10:30 we leave. We are on 419 at the Brambleton Intersection (only about 10 minutes away) and Chuck pulls into the 7 eleven. I ask what are we stopping for. Chuck says he needs a drink. That strange, he rarely stops when we are on our way home for a drink. He comes out with some water for me but nothing for him. What's wrong? He says he has a pain in his chest and its hurting really bad but he's be okay. So we leave and drive slowly on and from there we make it to the Wendy's at Tanglewood (about 10 minutes further) and he has to stop again. He has to get out of the car. The pain is worse when he's sitting. After trying to get him to go to the ER (with no luck) we travel on toward home. Well once again we stop (this time at Jersey Lil's) so he can get out again. Now his shoulder has the pain also. Needless to say I'm getting alittle scared and worried. After a few more minutes we travel on and finally make it home. Once inside he tries some tums and sits at the kitchen table. He is beginning to look worried himself and I really think he's going to have a heart attack but can't convince him to let me take him to the ER. I finally lay down around 12:30 and he finally came to bed around 1:00 and half laid and half sat up. About 30 minutes later, off he went and threw up. Once he threw up he came back to bed and said the pain was gone. So what was that all about????
Other than both of us being exhuasted from lack of sleep and scared to death, Chuck is fine!!
I hope we never have a repeat of that!

Chuck really needs to go to the doctor soon. That could be a sign of major issues. As well as the reflux he has. Not to worry you guys but you really have to advocate for yourself and press the doctor to find out what is wrong. Not all doctors are like House :o)
Love you
I agree with Shay. He could have had a mild heart-attack. My grandmother had two in one day and her symptoms were exactly as you described, even with the throwing up. She ended up having a triple bypass. He should go get a stress test. It's better to be too paranoid than not enough!
I love you also!
i agree with both of them. This sounds like a heart-attack even if it was possibly mild. My grandaddy had all those same symptoms..he needs to see a doctor ASAP or get an echocardiogram/stress test. Hope everything works out..I'll pray for him :)
