It's Been A While

Seems like forever since I posted. I stop to check emails and facebook throughout the workday but by the time work is over, I'm done with the computer.

No major news going on in the Grant house. We have been enjoying our hot tub that we got back in April. We probably use it at least 3-4 times a week so it was definitely a good investment.

Been trying to walk 3 times a week with Lynn. One night I drive to her house and we walk her neighborhood and then the next time she drives to my house. Of course, when we walk at my house we always end with a soak in the hot tub. Was hoping that it would help me lose some weight but no such luck. Guess that means I need to quit eating so much. Problem is I LOVE to eat!!

As of now, not really planning any vacations. We are hoping to go to Cass, WV for the train ride one weekend. But other than that, will probably just spend time at home enjoying the pool, etc. Looking forward to Memorial Day, having the pool open, and possibly a cookout. And of course, it will be nice to have a 4 day weekend.


I hope time doesn't go by too quickly but here's a few things we are looking forward to over the next few months.

Excited for June and July with Aundrea and Shay's baby showers as well as Corey and Nick's AT hike. I think I'm as excited as they are about their hike. I think it will be such a special time for them... something they will always remember.

Of course, August and September will be exciting with the new babies. Looking forward to finding out whether we will be welcoming Marley or Liam in August. Then we will be going to KY in September for Miss Briggsley Mae's birth.

And let's not forget that I'm looking foward to spending time with Reagan, whether its swimming, playing on the swingset, or just hanging out with my little darling. She is always fun to be with whether we are painting our toes, making brownies, or just waiting to see what she comes up with next.

Being a MeMaw to one has been so wonderful that I can't wait to have two more little ones to love as well.
